An AI System Digital Asset represents the software and application components for AI and generative AI services, whether from ServiceNow, third-party providers, or custom-built by the organization, serving as the deployable software source, binaries, and components that feed into build and integration pipelines. AI System Digital Assets are recorded in the alm_ai_system_digital_asset table and are a child type of [[AI Dataset Digital Asset (CSDM)|AI Digital Asset]]. They work alongside sibling asset types including [[AI Model Digital Asset (CSDM)|AI Model Digital Asset]] for [[Large language model|LLMs]], [[Machine learning|ML]] models, and other model types, [[AI Dataset Digital Asset (CSDM)|AI Dataset Digital Asset]] for source, training, and validation datasets, and [[AI Prompt Digital Asset (CSDM)|AI Prompt Digital Asset]] for prompt assets.
